Leader-S kit is designed for rifles based on AK with a barrel length not less than 415 mm (not compatible with shorter barrels).

The kit features Basis rails on four sides, allowing direct installation of accessories such as hand stoppers, sling mounts, switches, wire holders, rail covers, grips, and additional Picatinny rails. For Picatinny-compatible devices, B-2, B-2L, B-2M, or B-2U rails (sold separately) can be attached anywhere along the Basis rails.

The front section of the Leader-S handguard is lowered to accommodate the "Perst-4" combined device, both in its standalone and integrated versions. If "Perst" is not used, an ergonomic insert (sold separately) can be installed instead.

A version of the Leader kit with a lightweight lower Basis rail is also available.
